A fun Low-FODMAP twist on a traditional Greek meat pasta sauce
With the warm taste of cinnamon, to the burst of flavor with oregano. This hearty comfort sauce will leave your stomach feeling full and happy :)

Ingredients:
1 lb of ground beef
1-2 tbs garlic-infused oil
2 tbs of dried or fresh chives
3 oz (6 tbs) tomato paste (Publix brand has no garlic and onion)
½ oz (3tbs) of tomato sauce (Pomi has no garlic and onion)
1-1 ½ cups water
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
Oregano to taste
Instructions:
Sauté the chives in the garlic-infused oil over low heat. You don’t want to burn the chives. After about 1-2 minutes or until fragrant, add in your meat and brown it
Season the meat with salt and pepper. If needed, add in more chives and about 1tbs of garlic-infused oil for flavor
In a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Add the mixture to the browned meat. It should be liquidy; if needed, add ¼ cup of water at a time.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. The sauce should have thickened; if not, add 5 more minutes
While simmering, add in cinnamon and oregano
Once the sauce has thickened, make sure to taste it. It could be bland due to using garlic and onion alternatives :)
