Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of receiving services from Starmer Nutrition. Patients who decline text messaging receive full access to all services and are contacted by phone or email instead.

If you are referred to our practice, staff will ask verbally whether you would like to receive up to three text messages inviting you to book a nutrition session or enroll in our Metabolic Reset Program. If you book with us, our booking and intake forms include a separate, optional checkbox where you may agree to receive ongoing text messages, including appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and program information.

Message purpose: Depending on the consent you have provided, messages may include invitations to book a nutrition session or enroll in a program, booking links, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, re-booking reminders if a session is cancelled with no follow-up scheduled, and information about our nutrition programs.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies. If you consent verbally at referral, you will receive no more than three invitation messages. If you consent through our booking forms, frequency varies based on your appointments and program participation.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages you receive from us.

Opting out: You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. After you opt out, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
